International Children's handball Festival to be held in Togliatti

Dear handball fans!
On June 6th-12th, 2014, the XIII International children handball festival will be held in Togliatti, Samara region, Russian Federation. At the 1st festival, 45 teams arrived from 17 cities of Russia and Ukraine (645 participants). In the II festival, 151 teams from 49 cities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia and Uzbekistan took part in competition (2078 participants).
The organizers of the XIII International children handball festival are certain that a 12-year old history of festivals organization and its increasing popularity will help promoting the event to a higher level of quality.
Togliatti has a number of sports centers that meet the demands for organization of such type of international handball competition on the highest level. In 2003, the final tour of the VI European handball championship among girls born in 1985 was held at Olymp sports complex and Acrobat sports center.
The dates of the festival concur the holidays dedicated to the City Day of Togliatti.
Program of the festival includes sports part and various cultural and entertaining activities such as theatre animation parade along the streets of Avtozavodsky district, participation in the contest Landmark held during the parade, disco nights and acquaintance parties. As well all participants will have a chance to take part in the contest Mister and Miss Festival. Meanwhile, all guests will be invited to have an excursion around the city and embankment of Kuibyshev artificial lake, take a look at beautiful scenic Zhiguli Mountains and Samarskaya Luka national Park, visit unique museum exhibition of AVTOVAZ, the largest Russian car manufacturer.
Teams may arrive at festival with unlimited number of players upon informing the Organizational Committee.
All the teams shall play not less than 5 matches during their stay in Togliatti.
