1 December 2021

On Thursday, November 25, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region Dmitry Bogdanov presented to the business community federal and regional support instruments in a pandemic.
Governor Dmitry Azarov held a meeting with entrepreneurs in order to discuss and develop additional measures to support the sectors of the economy most affected by the pandemic. As a reminder, the region had a non-working day regime, and they were introduced a week earlier than in the country as a whole - from October 25 to November 7.

To support entrepreneurs at the country level, it was decided to issue grants for downtime on non-working days for small and medium-sized businesses for partial compensation of salary costs at the rate of 1 minimum wage per person. More than 10,700 applications were received from the Samara region. Over 8.5 thousand entrepreneurs have already received payments totaling almost 670 million rubles. Thus, more than 46.5 thousand employees were supported.
